East of UCR’s Bell Tower, at the head of the campus’s longest lawn, headliner Common rocked the students of Riverside. He performed songs old and new, as well as a freestyle relating to many things about the school itself. Surprisingly, he stepped into the crowd during the middle of his set, as well as brought a girl back up onstage with him. Common’s performance was anything but common.
