Julian Plenti is actually Paul Banks, the front man from the New York based band, Interpol. Today, he released Skyscraper under Matador Records. Giving a listen to some of the new tracks, it is still very reminiscent of Interpol’s older works, but with a different twist. The vocal melodies and album as a whole seem on the same page, but it sounds like he  took a step out of the box instrumentally with the guitar/bass riffs, and drums patterns. All in all I would say the album was enjoyable to say the least.
