Something about the voice of the lead singer from Tennis that’s peaceful enough to silence a rally or stop a ward of babies from crying. Her sweet melodies joined by summer drums and the surfer guitar riffs blend like a well made smoothie. Cape Dory is a short song/video showing a carefree kid hitching with a water ski rope behind his friends car riding the concrete waves through a neighborhood. Also, be sure to check out the video South Carolina from the Denver duo.

N.A.S.A knows how to bring a power pack of artist together on one track. Their last video A Volta involved an animated coke deal going down and still was one of my favorite videos of last year. Strange Enough features the late great O.D.B along with Karen O and Fat Lip. I still think A Volta is better but the kaleidoscope of animation added with Karen O and O.D.B in Strange Enough is greatness in itself.
