What happens when your father is one of the hardest working men in show business? Well, one would assume that as his son, you would take some of his better qualities with you and incorporate it into your own work. Sure enough, Jaden Smith is no spoiled pup. You can see in these trailers that Smith put in his share of work. I wish him the best of luck, unfortunately because of our customs in this country he will always be compared to his father. If that is the case, which we hope it is not, he has large shoes to fill and an even bigger shadow to escape from.

Warning: The following video might scare those who are frightened by technology and what it will become…
Keiichi Matsuda produced this film for his final project at Masters in Architecture. It was part of a larger project about the social and architectural consequences of new media and augmented reality.
“The latter half of the 20th century saw the built environment merged with media space, and architecture taking on new roles related to branding, image and consumerism. Augmented reality may re-conceptualize the functions of consumerism and architecture, and change in the way in which we operate within it.” - Keiichi Matsuda

Rumors have been circulating that Mos Def, Nas, Erykah Badu, and many other top tier artists will be on the album as well. Should be one for the ages. Check out his most recent mixtape Victory.

TOPMAN, the international savants of men’s fashion, has taken a stride out of menswear and right into the nucleus of music with their collaborating act, TOPMAN CTRL. This site is an ongoing monthly series where some of the sickest musical talents take control of CTRL online and reveal all the influences and inspiration that make up their musical DNA. Then, as a closing act, they choose the bands for the CTRL live concert, held in a different UK city each month. Past controllers have been: Passion Pit, Gallows, Black Lips, The Rumble Strips, Lightspeed Champion, Ladyhawke, and Metronomy…just to name a few.
For December, the controller is Diplo (Paper Planes by MIA ring a bell? Yessir, we’re talking about the producer), who has been sending major sound waves into the world with his psychedelic, electronic beats. Definitely swing by and check him and his hottest new acts out, and watch out for his t-shirt collaboration with TOPMAN, coming soon!
