Bringing Motown into the present, Mayer Hawthorne has been killing the music scene as of late. If you haven’t heard of the man, I don’t know what to say to you other than DO SOME RESEARCH! You might find out that he was actually a DJ… DJ Haircut. The man is a music genius, I love this featured song, perfect for those lounging days with the friends, over some drinks.

Straight out of Silverlake, Ca is the band called Local Natives. Their first album, Gorilla Manor, was released earlier this year and it was phenomenal; we loved it from head to toe. Superb melodies to go alongside refreshing vocals, here is my favorite track from the album:

The newest installment from Wiz Khalifa and his crew, “The Taylor Gang.” Judging from his past bodies of work, this should shape up to be another mixtape classic.
