cool
It takes a real artist to find art in a toilet roll. Awesome!
Wonderful :)
Hmmm… they all seem to look like George W Bush.
They remind me of “bog” people found in the mires of northern europe………..i like the art , well done ..
Great another use for them so not wasting it totally, thanks
Hmm.. I guess they found that talent from not having a newspaper or magazine to read while on the throne… Awesome work!
V. cool.
Is is a coincidence that they all look like they’re straining?
Oh these are so great! very cute :)
and the really funny thing, to me, is that for the last 2 weeks or so I’ve been wondering if there’s anything better we can do with TP rolls other than throwing them … when I was little we used to do so many creative things with them. I think I might give it a shot!
Anyway I *love* their expressions, very cheeky! thumbs up :)
Now that’s what I’m talking about! This goes hand in hand with my ‘Greening of Fine Art’ Fiber Sculptures. I use toilet paper rolls and anu other kind of tube I can find.
I love this!
cool, but rather strange looking. Like a grumpy old man with… Nevermind.
Yay for Stumble.
Wow, great!
wow, that’s incredible! I can hardly believe it was just a toilet paper rolls and whatever those colourings were. When I first got into this website I thought there would be a guide to show how you can make them.
Best thing I’ve seen all week. These are really great.
Very nice, great idea :-)
Zajimalo by mne, jestli ten napad vznikl na toalete, nebo az nad odpadkovym kosem … :D
Really cool!
It’s kind of cool. I’ve seen better odder things done.
hi there..these are just soo amazing!-was wondering if its possible to get hold of instructions as to how to make them?
Parabéns ao artista plástico Edi Edson pelo magnífico trabalho; é muito criativo e marcante pela sua força e ao mesmo tempo leve por sua simplicidade. Confira o Site oficial do Artista no link… Parabéns…
It’s amazing that you could see a toilet roll and think of sculpting a face. Now that’s talent! Truely
When I was a little girl, I was an artist. I am still an artist, but at 5, I was at the peak of my talents. I would make sky scrapers, bullet trains and tikki masks out of empty toilet paper rolls. My family and friends would always joke about my paper of choice.
Having found this post, I couldn’t be more than happy to see another artist creating such impressive things out of toilet paper rolls. Who’s laughing now?
Thanks for posting! You’ve earned yourself a reader.
damn this is what makes some people sit for such a long time inside.
Just wondering if you’ve found a good plugin to show two pages of comments. I remember you mentioned something about it a couple months ago.
amazing…… so that we can do somthing killing our time in loo. keep it up. i like to see more of this.

wow one of them looks like George W. Bush
This should be an inspiration to everyone! This is an incredible set of art. So great!
Hahaha! My first thought was George W. Bush art??? I’m glad to see at least 2 other people agree!
can’t help but say that toilet paper reminds me of the former president.
This is so cool! I love seeing how people can be so creative with unlikely objects!
so creative, i think you can use everthing again and again. You must be a recylcer :D
This is really cool stuff.

The faces look exactly like the shrunken heads everyone carved out of apples in the 70s. We peeled/carved them, made a sort of rudimentary face, and then dried them. They shrank and looked like hideous mummified grandmas.
Very creative.

its really very nice blog.
Hello! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Cheers!
Very nicely done. I love art made from simple materials. A toilet paper roll doesn’t get any more simple. Fantastic results. Keep up the great work.
Dan
PS. You should erase the last four comments. They are all spam. Don’t let them use your blog.
one amazing inspiration !
The trouble with public art is that it is a load of ugly, pompous, pretentious and narcissistic rubbish dumped on a snoozing public by arrogant bureaucrats and sponsors.
